Job Description 

Adideva College of Education, approved by Bundelkhand University, Uttar Pradesh, invites applications for the position of Head of Department (HOD) for its undergraduate programs in B.A. and B.Com. The institution is seeking an experienced academic professional with strong leadership abilities, subject expertise, and a commitment to academic excellence.

1. Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should possess a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with the required academic qualifications as per the norms of Bundelkhand University, UGC, Government of Uttar Pradesh, and other applicable regulatory bodies.
• Relevant teaching experience and academic leadership skills in the respective discipline are required.
• Candidates with experience in academic planning, curriculum implementation, departmental administration, and student development will be preferred.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Provide academic and administrative leadership to the department.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor teaching-learning activities.
• Support faculty development and maintain academic standards.
• Ensure effective implementation of university guidelines and academic policies.
• Monitor student performance, attendance, and overall departmental development.
• Coordinate examinations, departmental records, and quality enhancement initiatives.

3. Selection Process

Selection will be based on academic qualifications, relevant experience, leadership capabilities, and performance in the interview conducted by the institution.
