Job Description

Adideva College of Education, approved by Bundelkhand University, Uttar Pradesh, invites applications for the position of Geography Lab Assistant for its undergraduate programs. The institution is looking for a dedicated and skilled candidate who can support practical learning, maintain laboratory resources, and assist students in geographical studies.

1. Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should possess a Master’s Degree in Geography (M.A. Geography) with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university.
• Candidates having practical knowledge of geographical instruments, maps, surveying techniques, and laboratory management will be preferred.
• Relevant experience in handling Geography Laboratory activities will be an added advantage.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Assist faculty members in conducting Geography practical sessions.
• Maintain and manage Geography laboratory equipment, maps, charts, and other resources.
• Prepare laboratory materials and practical demonstrations for students.
• Maintain records of laboratory inventory and equipment usage.
• Guide students during practical activities and ensure proper use of laboratory resources.
• Support departmental activities, academic programs, and practical examinations.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of the Geography Lab.

3. Selection Process

Selection will be based on academic qualifications, relevant experience, practical knowledge, and performance in the interview conducted by the institution.
